Kit Instruction

Do not eat, drink, smoke, chew gum, use mouthwash or brush your teeth at least 30 minutes before swabbing your cheek.

Rinse your mouth with water immediately before using the test!

Twist & pull to remove the cheek swab from tube, insert the tip of the swab into mouth, and firmly rub it against the side of the cheek for a minimum of 30 seconds.

Repeat on the other side of the mouth. Return used cheek swab to the tube.

Fill out the ID barcode sticker found on the Sticker Sheet with the date you took the sample and the sex assigned at birth of the person being tested.

IMPORTANT: apply the barcode sticker lengthwise to the tube, ensuring the barcode is parallel to the length of the tube.

Remove the 14-digit Personal ID Activation Code sticker from the Sticker Sheet included in the kit.

Apply the ID code sticker to this card and keep it in a safe place as it is the key to obtaining your results.

Go to patients.inagene.com and create an account using your personal information. This is the account you will use to register your sample and view your results.

Once logged in online click “Register Activation Code” and complete the form to use your Personal ID Activation Code to register your sample.

Place the sample tube inside the clear plastic biohazard bag provided.

Then place only the biohazard bag (with sample tube inside) back into the Inagene Personalized Insights™ package. Keep the instructions and Activation Code sticker for your own records.

Remove the backing of the prepaid shipping label provided and stick it over the existing shipping label on the exterior of the package.

Remove the sticker strip from the top of the packaging and fold over to reseal with the sample tube and biohazard bag inside.

Drop your sample into the mailbox or at the local post office and it will be delivered to our lab in Toronto.

Congratulations, once you have mailed your sample, AND registered your sample online, you are finished!
