On-Demand Webinar: Personalized Medicine With Pharmacogenetic Testing with Dr. Alan Low

Inagene was proud to host this educational webinar for consumers, which was presented live by Dr. Alan Low, BSc.(Pharm.), Pharm.D, FCSHP, Primary Care Pharmacist and Pharmacy Lead at BioPro Biologics Pharmacy, and Clinical Associate Professor, University of British Columbia, together with Manna Sidhu, Pharm D Candidate. In this webinar, the presenters educate the audience on the importance and benefits of personalized medicine. They discuss what pharmacogenomics and pharmacogenetic testing is, and how it can be an important tool in optimizing drug treatment by helping healthcare providers select medications that are less likely to cause side effects and more likely to work well for an individual, based on their DNA. Towards the end of the webinar, the speakers answer questions from the national audience about pharmacogenomics, its coverage, and its use.
